Men's Wild Game Supper
 Trinity held it's annual Men's Wild Game Supper on Thursday, March 2, 2006. The gathering was a great success with almost 150 men, sons, and daughters attending.
Our guest speaker this year was Mr. Don Davis of Columbus, MS. Mr. Davis delivered a very meaningful message which, as one attendant put it, 'hit us right between the eyes', encouraging men to be better husbands and fathers. Mr. Davis cleverly integrated his humorous parables with scripture and kept captive the audience's attention.
Our gymnasium was decorated with an outdoor motif including many antique collectibles. Those attending had the opportunity to taste from a wide variety of exceptionally prepared wild game dishes including large and small game, upland birds, waterfowl, and fish as well. And, as is usually the case, homemade desserts were in abundance.
We extend a special 'thank you' to the many organizations and individuals who graceously donated to the host of door prizes that were given away at the close of the event. |

Bridge to the Future
 Praise the Lord for our “Bridge to the Future”campaign pledges. We now have 235 family units that have pledged toward the campaign, for a total of $2,078,407.50. |

Magazine Collection
You have brought so many out of date magazines (over 600 last month), that we have added another resident home. The Borda Home as well as the Lutheran Home, the Barry Home, and Jefferson Square will be receiving monthly magazine deliveries by one of our deacons and his wife. You may leave your donations in the collection box in the fellowship foyer. |
